Our focus is people and helping our members further their dairy industry career – in whatever sector they work.
We do this through:
networking and mentoring
Networking events are held through out the year giving members and colleagues the opportunity to come together in a social environment, be it a trivia night, golf day or Zoom wine & cheese event. For more information about what is happening in your Branch and nationally.
DIAA Women is a new initiative aiming to support women in the dairy industry through networking, education and mentoring opportunities.
technical learning
The Dairy Science World Series Technical Short Courses, led by recognised global and Australian experts, gives industry personnel the opportunity to enhance their skills focusing in particular areas of the dairy industry .
The DIAA Lunchtime Technical Webinars are a recent response to the busy world that is today. These sessions are usually one hour in duration focusing in on a specific topic and are promoted via our member email and in the Events Calendar.
Over the year additional technical seminars are offered on current topics. These are promoted via our member email and will appear in the Events Calendar.
